ABOUT US Sophia Magic Club is an officially recognised Sophia University magic club, focusing on close-up magic (table magic) using playing cards and coins to make spectators experience miracles in front of their eyes. ​ In addition to our regular activities, we also organise events such as training camps, exchanges with magic clubs of other universities and going out for dinner in order to improve our magic techniques and presentation methods and to deepen the friendship between our members. ​ Every year, many of the new members are beginners. Even if you have never done magic before, there is no need to worry because we teach you from the basic techniques. We welcome everyone from beginners to experienced magicians, those who are not first year students, those who just want to watch magic, those who already belong to other clubs and those from other universities. ​ Sophia Magic Club also accepts requests for school festivals, parties, TV filming cooperation, etc. Please feel free to contact us.

FAQ I am a beginner in magic. Can I be accepted as a member? Of course, you will be fine. Many of the new members of the club are beginners. Can students from other universities join the club? Of course, it's no problem. We are an inter-college club, so people from universities other than Sophia University are also welcome. We have a few people from other universities. When and where are the club activities held? Generally, the activities are held every Wednesday after 5th period (from 17:20). Activities take place in classrooms at the Yotsuya Campus of Sophia University. I want to join the club. Please send us a message on SNS or Official LINE. We will send you an information for participation in activities. Does it cost any money? There is an admission fee of 100 yen, but you will receive a box of BICYCLE playing cards when you join. We do not charge a club activity fee. Can I request you to perform at events? Requests to perform at events are accepted via the contact form on the official website, email or DM on SNS. Rates are generally around ¥10,000 for 30 minutes, but please consult with us to discuss your budget for your event.
